Cake Bae is an American reality series following single mom, 7-year military veteran  and cake artist Vanessa Sampson. She’s a home baking genie to the stars. Her cakes have been featured on the Food Network and Holiday Gingerbread Showdown. While her cakes are treasures her love life is trash!

From cartoon characters, to LeBron James’ likeness to a cake heart (the organ, not the shape), she’s able to create art with icing and batter. And with a catchphrase like “Eat Art,” that’s exactly what she’s encouraging her customers to do. There’s no order too big or too small – for this one woman powerhouse. But she’s realizing she needs to hire a team to expand her budding business and also try to ‘start‘ her non-existent love life. She’s a workaholic, so it’s hard for her to invest time dating and hiring, but now more than ever she wishes there was someone special and a team to help her grow.  We follow Vanessa as she creates her legendary edible art – from the hardware store, to the jewelry store we see her struggle to manage romance in the midst of meeting impossible deadlines.
